Influenced by a 1928 police photo of three known Sydney criminals. Special glass plate photographs were taken to capture how certain criminals dressed and presented themselves. These photos were displayed in the police station on a wall known as the "Rogues Gallery". Their names, height and other details were scratched into the glass plate. This particular image was named Special Photograph no. 1608.
